Specialties/Certifications: 

Every compression team member at Active Life has received personalized training from Jeanine Doty, CPO, RN, a well known lymphedema and vascular compression therapy expert in the Los Angeles area. Additionally, all Active Life compression fitters receive special training and certification from a variety of garment manufacturers. Examples of services/products offered by our fitters include custom and ready-tp-wear vascular and lymphedema garments from BSN-Jobst, Juzo, Sigvaris and Mediven. Lymphedema night garments (Jovipak, Circaid, Solaris and Reidsleeve), and burn scar treatment garments are also considered specialties of Active Life. All fitters are also trained in fitting and evaluation of post-mastectomy breast prostheses and accessories, as well as maternity supports.



Biography: 

Karina has always demonstrated a strong interest in the medical field and patient care, and her caring and friendly personality has helped her grow into many clinical roles for Active Life since she was originally hired in 2008.  She excels in compression garments for lymphedema & burns, as well as mastectomy, maternity and orthotic soft good services.  Karina has built a strong and positive work ethic, and is passionate about her career at Active Life and helping patients improve their quality of life.
