Biography:
Spencer is a 2nd generation ABC Certified Orthotist and Prosthetist and is the CEO of Active Life, Inc, a full service Orthotics & Compression patient care facility based in Los Angeles, CA. He provides and specializes in a variety of Orthotic & Prosthetic services and devices. Spencer creates custom bracing designed to either improve ambulation, limb positioning or manage neuromuscular or orthopedic conditions. As a certified prosthetist, he works with amputees to replace lost limbs and restore function and quality of life. Spencer also specializes in pediatric patient populations through his work with Orthopaedic Hospital / UCLA orthopedic and neuromuscular clinics. Educating physicians, health plans and aspiring Orthotists/Prosthetists is also one of Spencer's passions. In addition to being a residency site director for NCOPE, he served for several years as a core faculty member at Loma Linda University's Master's Level O&P program and developed coursework built around lower extremity orthotics, pedorthics and patient management/assessment.
